Entebbe Airport & Entebbe Botanical Gardens

✈️ Arrival 🌿 Nature walk

Our driver guide will warmly meet you on arrival at Entebbe International Airport, or at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe; brief you on the safari programme, then drive a short distance to Entebbe Botanical Gardens (EBG) for a welcome nature walk.

Located on the northern shores of Lake Victoria (near the Equator), EBG covers about 40.7ha and hosts diverse plant zones, birds (over 200 species), and monkeys such as Black-and-white colobus and vervet monkeys.

Lake Mburo National Park

🚙 Transfer 🦓 First game drive

Travel to Lake Mburo National Park, arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After a short siesta, head out for your first game viewing drive.

Lake Mburo is a mix of open water, marsh, and wooded grassland—excellent for hippos, crocodiles, shoreline birds, and antelopes such as zebra, eland, impala, waterbuck and bushbuck.

Lake Mburo & Transfer to Bwindi

🛶 Boat cruise 🏞️ Scenic drive

After breakfast, enjoy a boat activity along the shoreline until early afternoon. Then drive southwest to Bwindi, stopping in Kabale for lunch. Check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

🦍 Gorilla trekking 🏘️ Community visit

After breakfast, assemble at the park headquarters for briefing, then begin your gorilla tracking experience. Bwindi hosts more than half of the world’s mountain gorilla population.

If time allows after the trek, enjoy a walk around the Buhoma village and meet the Batwa community, visit the local brewing site, and learn about cultural traditions.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (via Ishasha)

Start early with packed lunch for the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through Ishasha—famous for tree-climbing lions. Arrive at the lodge later in the evening.

Morning Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Launch Cruise

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park—one of Africa’s most diverse reserves. Expect elephants, buffalo, warthogs, Uganda kobs, bushbucks and more.

In the afternoon, take a launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel connecting Lakes George and Edward. Look out for hippos, giant crocodiles, and abundant birdlife along the banks.

Travel to Kibale Forest National Park

🐒 Primates 🚙 Transfer

Travel to Kibale—famous for hosting the highest primate diversity in Uganda (about 13 primate species), including chimpanzees, l’Hoest monkeys, black-and-white colobus and blue monkeys.

Chimpanzee Tracking

🐒 Chimp trekking 🌿 Forest walk

After breakfast, attend briefing and head into the forest for chimp tracking. Chimp movement depends on food availability. Once located, observe their social behavior, vocalizations, and drumming communication.

Travel to Murchison Falls National Park

🚙 Long drive 🌅 Savanna views

A long journey today (packed lunch). Arrive at the lodge late for dinner and overnight. Murchison is renowned for sweeping savannas, borassus palms, rainforest patches, and the mighty Nile.

Game Drive & Boat Ride on the Nile

Enjoy a rewarding Nile boat ride with chances to see hippos, crocodiles, and large congregations of buffalo and elephants, plus abundant water birds along the banks.

Transfer to Kampala & Cultural Evening
